THE BRAND

Les Récupérables

Up-cycling, that's what we offer Les Récupérables to produce eco-responsible clothing from linen, end of rolls or non-compliant materials.

All these scraps of fabric recovered in relays, resource centres or at Emmaus will be able to become tomorrow's ecological clothing. French production in rehabilitation workshops in Marseille gives rise to limited edition creations.

All the more reason for Klow to select these ethical clothes made in a respectful way!

Naturals

Thanks to their ease of production and growth, these natural materials, whether of plant or animal origin, have little impact on the environment. They therefore do not need labels. However, when they have the Oeko-Tex label, it means that they have benefited from regulations for the use of toxic products. These garments are therefore not a risk to our health. Linen, hemp or alpaca wool are among these natural materials.

Linen is a particularly resistant natural material. Produced from cultivated flax, this "wild grass" is very easy to grow in Europe. In addition to being sustainable, linen has the advantage of being more biodegradable and recyclable than cotton. It requires little maintenance, little energy and little water for its growth, and releases little nitrate into the air.

Hemp is one of the best and most widely used natural and ecological fibres. As an alternative to cotton, it is very useful for making t-shirts or jeans for example. The main advantages of this plant is that it is particularly biodegradable, resistant, and does not irritate the skin. Moreover, it is very easy to cultivate hemp: no irrigation or pesticides. It even allows the soil to regenerate itself.

Up-cycling

Up-cycling is a process of manufacturing products from existing materials and fabrics that are upgraded into new garments. By giving a second life to these textiles, this method puts into practice the principle of circular economy and has a lesser impact on the environment.
